Benefits

  • Less Dangerous- The temperature in conventional sauna's can sometimes get as high as 235 degrees Fahrenheit, whereas infrared sauna's have a stable temperature range of around 110-120 degrees.

  • Deep Penetrating- Relieves muscular aches and pains, including arthritis, rheumatism, bursitis and sciatica.

  • Helps control Weight- Burns up to 600 Calories per 20 minutes, which is three times more than a conventional sauna.

  • Improves Skin Tone- Promotes healthier skin tone and texture due to increased blood circulation. Increases the eliminative detoxifying cleansing capacity of the skin by stimulation the sweat glands.

  • Rids Your Body of Toxins- Radiant heat sweats out heavy metal toxins, and other waste products from your body. Thus, the infrared sauna sweats out a much higher percentage of poisons and waste than conventional saunas.

  • Cardiovascular Conditioning-  Exercises the Cardiovascular Systems through increased circulation and heart rate like a physical workout.

Infrared saunas do not use steam to heat a person's body, but uses infrared light to heat the person directly- from the inside.

Infrared is a light source; the heat that comes out of it is a light that penetrates into your body about an inch and a half, whereas a conventional sauna heats the air around you.

While it heats differently, the infrared sauna still causes a person to sweat like a regular sauna and expel toxins. This aids in disease prevention as well.

A new feature offered through the infrared sauna's is LED Color Therapy. Each color has a different quality, such as violet for energy. The light comes down from a starlight ceiling in the sauna and is absorbed through the skin.

LED (Light-emitting diode) therapy is one of the most popular treatments in the medical industry. It is a noninvasive procedure that promotes the body's natural healing process.

  • How it works- LED Therapy uses non-thermal light that penetrates deep into the skin. As the light is quickly absorbed, it produces energy in the cells that stimulates them to undergo cellular regeneration.

  • Uses- LED Therapy is used in treatments to correct acne, scaring, signs of aging and skin discoloration. LED Is used to heal wounds, burns, Seasonal Affective Disorder (a type of depression caused by the changing of seasons. Occuring usually in winter, the decrease in sunlight may disrupt your body's internal clock and lead to feelings of depression.) LED therapy also helps with many other emotional disorders which have been documented.

  • Cosmetic Benefits- Red LED light therapy stimulates production of collagen and elastin, which plumps the skin, minimizes the appearance of fine lines and wrinkles, and leaving a healthy, youthful glow. It also activates cellular activity which improves skin disorders.

  • Medical Benefits- Research done by NASA concludes that cells treated with light emitting diode grow 150-200% faster than cells without, speeding the healing process. In addition, LED Therapy reduces pain and inflammation.

  • Safety- LED Therapy is sage for use and can be used long term because it doesn't produce heat or UV rays. Side effects are very rare to none.

The use of color in medicine is seen in almost every branch of traditional healing. When color is dispersed throughout the sauna it creates a unique energy with the proven ability to heighten or alter an individuals mood.

White- The most common color to be used in LED color therapy, due to the fact that the three primary colors (red, green, & blue) are used in order to create wite light with LED lamps. Hence one gets all the benefits from all the colors used for color therapy. Research has shown that this can even increase vitamin D levels.

Red- Has been shown to enhance sex life and increase energy. Can also help those suffering with Chronic hypotension. Activates Collagen cells faster than any other color. People find the most effective in stimulating skin and collagen cells to reduce the appearance of lines and wrinkles. It energizes all organs and promotes faster healing when used in conjunction with Infrared Therapy.

Orange- I Is traditionally used to stimulate mental activity and induce cheerful emotions. Can increase energy levels and improve a persons outlook while honing mental clarity. Consider using orange if you feel bored or mildly depressed.

Yellow- Can be used to help a person feel spiritually grounded while maintaining a positive outlook. it may help individuals feel more optimistic and lighthearted. This is also an option for those who tend to take life a little too seriously.

Green- The color of life itself; we depend on it to feel grounded and calm. Individuals who suffer from Seasonal Affective Disorder or the "Winter Blues" may consider using green to restore a sense of vividness and acceptance.

Blue- Used to ease symptoms of pain, anxiety, and depression. Cools down inflammation, lowers fevers, helps high blood pressure and relieves bursting headaches. Reduces acne, because blue lights are killing bacteria which is a major source of acne infections.

Purple- Helps individuals maintain a sense of "mind over matter" when dealing with chronic pain. It slows down an overactive heart; stimulates the spleen and white blood cells; it promotes a true sense of tranquility; reduces anxiety and detoxifies.
